How do I find the right person to send my sponsorship materials to?
Answered in: 2022 Motorsports Sponsorship Summit part 1The Answer
Call the company receptionist and ask directly: 'I'm looking to discuss sponsorships - who handles that in marketing?' LinkedIn is valuable for research but profiles are often outdated. You can also reach out via Instagram to the social media manager who can direct you to the right contact. Don't send materials to generic website contact forms. Once you have the correct name and title, reach out to build a relationship before sending your deck. About 10% of contacts change positions annually, so verify your contact is still in that role.
